telling good from bad.
Whether islands float,
or go all the way down.
Why baby animals are so
much cuter than baby people.
Related, why humans don’t have fur,
which would make us more attractive
as we age. Also warmer.
Why Seamus is spelled that way,
and facade pronounced that way.
Related, why some letters never shut up,
and others must be silent.
Whether my cat really liked me,
at least sometimes.
Whether memory is just a
form of imagination.
Whether my father is still alive
in the space between.
Whether I was dreaming.

Love love love love this! Think how much money would be saved on anti-aging creams, collagen and the like if we just had fur. (Wouldn’t we be dazzling?) All your cats have loved you! “Whether memory is just a form of imagination” – YES. Wow.

I’ve long envied men who can choose to wear facial hair — like your beautiful beard/mustache — though I suppose those who don’t consider shaving a hassle. I’ll just say out loud that post-menopausal chin hairs don’t get it done. 🙂
