Say my love is constant
and yours variable or
the opposite alternately
juxtaposed and irrational.
A negative exponent implies a fraction.
When will we quit complaining?
Endlessly we divide.
At 25,000 miles per hour
an object may break free
of Earth’s gravitational pull,
bolt its closed orbit
to traverse an infinite
number of stars.
Count carefully our grievances;
subtract what was never real.
Take the square root of the remainder;
multiply by all we do not know.
Factor in forever. Obviously.
Still, x eludes us.
I accidentally read what you wrote- did I? I’m here now, am I? I’m wiser now, am I ? Grateful? Yes!

I think ‘x’ will always elude us. Clever piece! 🙂

No doubt, Russ; at least I’m never going to solve for it! Thanks, Friend.
