    This made me smile.
(One of my beloved dogs died last year of lymphoma. She LOVED chickens. We agreed that when she passed on, she would send me signs via chickens. Needless to say, I’ve seen chickens everywhere since, and I’m grateful for each one.)
I have a feeling I will love your blog.

    1. I hope you do, Christy! I read and enjoyed your “About” page and will be keeping up with you, too. I’m sorry for the loss of your beloved dog. Our animal companions are so, so important — and often a lot easier to love, and be loved by, than our fellow humans.
